I want to introduce myself as a new member of the Little Butterfly Kisses team; I’m excited to be joining this group of wonderful individuals. I will be posting here 3 times a week, with a mixture of information about some of our newest items, helpful tips and suggestions on parenting and grandparenting and other topics relevant to child rearing. I’m grateful to Rachel for allowing me to post here and share my thoughts and ideas.
My name is Walker Thornton. First and foremost, I’m a grandmother of two darling granddaughters, ages 4 and 19 months. I take my role as Nana very seriously! Being a grandmother has given me permission to get out the crayons and Play-Doh, as I want to provide them with fun experiences- and to color and play right along side. And, I’m paying more attention to all things toddler and pre-school. Like every parent and grandparent I want to love, shelter, nurture, and challenge them to be all they can be. I also want the best and safest, educational one-of-a-kind toys and child rearing tools available. Little Butterfly Kiss has just the kind of basic necessities and all the fun little extras I want for my grandchildren. I know I’ve found many wonderful products from the website and I think you will too.
My education is in Educational Psychology, and I’ve worked with children and then in the nonprofit world for a number of years. I hope to bring some of my experiences to this forum as well. Keeping our kids safe has always been a priority for me. Here I will talk about issues you face as parents and offer tips on making life a little easier!
